Scott Baier,
Associate Professor Economics, Clemson University

Scott Baier joined the faculty at Clemson in 2001 and is a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta. He served as an economic adviser to the President in 2007-2008. As a member of the Council of Economic Advisers, he provided economic analyses of current events, pending legislation and assisted with the production of the Economic Report of the President. His award-winning research focuses on international trade, and economic growth and development.

Discover Anderson Now Taking Applications for Class 15

Discover Anderson is a countywide endeavor designed to provide newcomers and current residents the opportunity to learn about all the many facets the Anderson Area has to offer, as well as offer networking opportunities that would motivate and encourage community involvement. The program includes several components: educational, networking, and entertainment. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect!

The program consists of six regularly scheduled weekday evening sessions held over a 4-month period from 4:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. on Mondays, with the exception of the orientation session and a graduation ceremony.
